Hi Madoka, tell us a bit about yourself?

Hi I’m Madoka Shibazaki and I’m a photographer living in Tokyo.

So you did a pleasant editorial. what are your thoughts behind it?

I did the shooting for this editorial in Tokyo. It’s a city that has the highest population in the world. We have a Japanese word “HITONAMI” and it means many people coming and going. The two chinese capitals build the word of “HITONAMI(人波)” representing “people” and “waves”.
I wanted to express “pleasant” in “HITONAMI”.

If you should name your pleasant editorial, what would you call it?

What does ”make waiting pleasant” mean to you?

I love waiting with someone rather than waiting by yourself. The time I spend with someone is very important and special for me.

As a photographer, what's your dream task?

I want to be a photographer that could inspire people and influence the society.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would that be?

Eliminate war.

How long could you survive without internet?

Now, even one day is really hard for me.

Do you have a favourite piece of clothing?

I love many types of clothing because they can change how you feel or a whole atmosphere.

What's the meaning of life?

Spending time feeling pleased
