As a consumer, do you think about what you buy and throw away, and how much?
Yes, to a certain extent. We consume far too much in our society, and especially in our part of the world! We thought we should consume less, but better. That is also the idea behind Vild Is. The price of (Danish) organic ice cream is a little higher, but then maybe eat a little less ice cream, but better ice cream (yes, our ice cream is just better than other good soda ice cream!)
Now we live in Thy, which is relatively chill. What does your work/life balance look like?
We came to Thy mainly because of surfing, but also the wild and diverse nature. We both come from Copenhagen and were/are actually happy with the big city, but discovered that values such as tranquility, access to nature and the sea, smaller communities, active lifestyle (in nature) began to fill more and more. Thy has a good history of organic farming, which we have tapped into, but the fact that we happen to make soda pop (and now also soda) in Thy is really "just" about us thinking it's nice here!
Now you've got some Pleasant clothes on, but otherwise, do you think about your clothing consumption, and also where the clothes come from and are produced?
We don't buy clothes much. Most of our clothes are older, passed down from friends and family, bought at the thrift store or from brands like Pleasant (we can't pretend we don't know you, because we do, and i/Pleasant is our favorite brand!!)
