Why should you choose a Pleasant product?

Clothes with a clear conscience

We have made a healthy decision to no longer buy new textiles. We haven't done so since 2021. We upcycle and make clothes from recycled textiles. It's a huge environmental saving that gives us a good conscience that we want to share.

Minimize CO2 emissions

The majority of a piece of clothing's CO2 footprint lies in the material production. By using textiles that already exist, we achieve a CO2 footprint that is at least 4 times lower than a conventional product. This is despite the fact that our goods have to be shipped both from Denmark to our production countries and back.

Unique products

We design clothes based on what we find from recycled textiles, and the materials are therefore naturally limited. This results in very different products and not many of each.

What does upcycling mean?

Upcycling means taking an existing textile product and turning it into a new one of higher value. We mainly use used duvet covers, curtains and tablecloths that have already been through one or more life cycles. The material requires no post-processing and can be made directly into clothing.

The purpose of our style guide is to give you inspiration and clarity about the fit and size of our products. We invited different people into our studio and let them freely choose the styles, sizes and prints they wanted to wear.
